EMBOTRAP® III Revascularization Device

EMBOTRAP™ III is a revascularization device designed for mechanical thrombectomy in the neurovasculature, combining an innovative dual-layer architecture with advanced clot engagement and control.

Its unique design features an inner channel that helps secure and stabilise the clot while allowing reperfusion, together with an articulating outer cage designed to maintain vessel wall apposition and engage the thrombus during retrieval. A distal closed-end mesh provides additional clot control throughout the retrieval process.

Designed to address a wide range of clot types, EMBOTRAP™ III is indicated for vessel diameters from 1.5 mm to 6.5 mm. Its dual-layer configuration is engineered to support effective interaction with clots of varying composition, including fibrin-rich and red blood cell-rich thrombi.
